(April 27, 2010) Thursday, April 22, was the 40th annual Earth Day, a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. And considering the environment by "goin' green" is part of the reason Recorder Community Newspapers are cutting back on ink and paper use by beefing up their Web sites with blogs from community groups and organizations.
Actually, more and more folks are reading our newspapers online for the latest area news. Then they also check out the 40+ blogs there among our 15 newspapers.
Blogging is a free, easy, real-time, multi-media, 21st century communication tool using the Internet. Getting connected to your Recorder Community Newspaper is a snap. Just call me at (908) 832-7420 or e-mail panderson@recordernewspapers.com to find out how to get started. All you need is a computer and an e-mail address.
