Boo! time

(Oct. 27, 2010) It's time for ghosts and goblins, princesses and cowboys, and more. Sunday, Oct. 31, is Halloween when kids of all ages dress up in scary, sometimes not so scary, costumes and have fun with candy and all kinds of "trick or treat."

Years ago, they used to roam up on and down their neighborhood streets on Halloween night, ringing doorbells and shouting "trick or treat" as a petition for candy from those who answered their doors. Nowadays, at the end of the month, there are many other Halloween celebrations deemed safer, including "trick or trunk," school parties, neighborhood parades, farm fests and more. Read all about them in Recorder Community Newspapers and in many of their blogs right here online.

Any community group or individual interested in joining the more than 60 Recorder bloggers at any of 15 online newspapers is invited to call me at (908) 832-7420 or e-mail panderson@recordernewspapers.com and I will explain all about this free offer. Blogging is simple and all you need is a computer and an e-mail.
